How LENS Works
We replaced basic curriculum requirements with real academic freedom. Instead of following a list of mandatory classes, you get to explore your passions through an adaptable liberal arts education.
The Three Lenses
The LENS program challenges you across three core areas:
- Humanities & Fine Arts (e.g., English, History, Philosophy, Art)
- Natural Sciences & Mathematics (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science)
- Social Sciences & Social Applications (e.g., Business, Psychology, Political Science)
Once you choose a major, you pick a minor in each remaining area. This lets you build a truly customized degree tailored to your specific goals. It’s like graduating with an automatic side-hustle—or two.
