On-campus living at University of the Ozarks is an essential part of the student experience, offering a supportive environment that fosters personal growth and community connection. Living on campus allows our students to build strong relationships with peers, access campus resources easily, and be fully engaged in university life. It also provides a sense of belonging and security, creating a home away from home where students can focus on academics, extracurriculars, and making lasting memories.
At Ozarks, students can easily manage their housing selection process through our online portal. First-year students will have the opportunity to be housed in the brand-new Freshman Residence Hall, while new transfer students will have housing options based on their credit hours. Returning students will have housing options determined by their credit hours, age, and cohort groups.
To secure housing, students must complete an application and either create a roommate group or find roommates using the Roomeez feature in the housing portal. If you’re unable to find roommates, the Office of Residential Life will match you with compatible roommates based on your application.

- Ensure all roommates complete their individual housing application.
- One roommate creates and names the “Roommate Group” in the Roomeez portal.
- Click “Invite your roommates” to the group. Insert their Ozarks.edu email. This then emails an invitation to all roommates.
- Have roommates click “accept” on the email invite.
- Confirm your roommates have green checkmarks next to their name. This means they accept the invitation and are added to your group.
What if you don’t have a group?
- Make an eRezLife Roommate Profile to search for students seeking roommates.
- If you do not select anyone to form a roommate group, you will be placed into housing based on your housing application information.
