Commencement is the pinnacle of academic success — representing years of hard work, dedication and commitment.
The University will celebrate its Spring 2021 graduates with an outdoor, in-person Commencement ceremony for limited guests at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, on the University’s Hurie Soccer Field. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the University will limit the total number of people in the venue to around 900 and social-distancing and mask protocols will be enforced. Each graduate can invite up to four guests to attend the ceremony and those guests must be pre-registered. Digital tickets will be required for admittance for guests. The event will be livestreamed so that family and friends who cannot attend will be able to view the ceremony. In case of inclement weather, the Commencement ceremony will move to Mabee Gymnasium for the graduates and faculty only. Guests will be directed to view the ceremony via livestream from various facilities around campus.
