Commencement is the pinnacle of academic success — representing years of hard work, dedication and commitment.

Held twice a year, commencement is an opportunity for our graduates to share the excitement and importance of their academic accomplishments with classmates, family, and friends. It is also a time for the University’s Board of Trustees and campus community to pay special tribute to our graduates for the outstanding effort they have shown in earning their degree.

U of O Cancels Spring Commencement

We are exploring several options in which to provide our graduates, including having them participate in December 2020 or Spring 2021 Commencement activities or having a special ceremony during Labor Day Weekend in September. We have emailed a survey to all seniors who are scheduled to graduate in May to get their feedback on what options they prefer. Please know that all seniors who meet their requirements will be full-fledged Ozarks graduates in mid-May and will receive their degrees then.
