Test Scores
The fastest way to get an admission decision is to submit your ACT and/or SAT scores. However, University of the Ozarks emphasizes a holistic admission application review and we believe that factors other than standardized test scores can predict a student's potential to succeed in college. Therefore, we no longer require applicants to submit ACT or SAT scores as part of the admission process. This is called a "test-optional" application process.

Applicants who decide to apply test-optional will receive full consideration for admission, without penalty.

Enter your highest ACT composite score.

Enter your highest SAT composite score. For tests taken before March 1, 2016, enter your combined Critical Reading and Math score. For tests taken on March 1, 2016 or later, enter your combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math score.

Applying Test-Optional

Test optional applicants with high school GPA of 2.80 or higher will be considered for admission by only submitting an official high school transcript.

Test-optional applicants under a 2.80 high school GPA will be required to:
  1. Submit official high school or home school transcript OR GED scores
  2. Submit a letter of recommendation
  3. Submit an academic writing sample
  4. Submit a resume or student profile
