U of O students to direct one-acts on Dec. 4-5

Clarksville, Ark. --- University of the Ozarks theatre students Erin Fuller, Jenava Moreau, and Danielle Cheri Stover and will each direct one-act performances on Dec. 4 and 5 in the Seay Theatre on the U of O campus.

The performances will begin at 7:30 each day. Admission is $8 for the public and $6 for senior citizens, and seating is limited.

Fuller, a senior from White Hall, Ark., will direct The Happy Journey to Trenton and Camden, a story written by Wilder that follows a New Jersey family as they drive from their home in Newark to visit their married daughter in Camden. The cast includes Kalea Bennett, Jeff Taylor, Brigitte Bridoux, Travis Perusich, Jordyn Campbell and Lindsey Humphries.

Stover, a senior from Waldron, Ark., will direct Reverse Transcription includes Justin Hughes, Catalina Ruiz-Salazar, Brandon Hearld, Bill Eldridge, Leah Short and Josh Tarvin.

The one-act plays are a partial fulfillment of the Advanced Directing class, taught by Professor Pat Farmer. The technical director and house manager of the one-acts will be Professor Bruce B. Brown. Moreau will serve as the lightning designer, Grace Harnish will be the graphic designer and production stage manager, Andrew Heim will serve as light and sound board operator, and Houston Hall and Lissa Malcom will serve as the ushers and stage crew.
