Clarksville, Ark. -- University of the Ozarks theatre students Danielle Stover, Kristina Davenport and James M. Pritchett will each direct one-act performances on Feb. 12 and 13 in the Seay Theatre on the U of O campus.

The performances will begin at 7:30 each day and they are intended for mature audiences. Admission is $5 and seating is limited. Stover, a junior from Waldron, Ark., will direct Fourteen, a comedy by Alice Gerstenberg of manners involving an older woman and her hopes of marrying her daughter (and subsequently herself) into greater fortune. The play stars U of O students Erin Fuller, Samantha Puent and Christopher Cunningham. Davenport, a junior from Port Neches, Texas, will direct The American Century, written by Murphy Guyer, which starts as a playful newlywed comedy and spirals out of control as a mysterious stranger arrives. The cast includes students Jeff Haynes, Grace Anne Harnish and Phillip Perez. Pritchett, a senior from Purdon, Texas, will direct Lanie Robertson’s The Insanity of Mary Girard, a case-study of 19th Century psychology that explores the depths of sanity in a young woman using Greek-choral elements. The cast includes Jenava Moreau, Alexander Chandler, Annie Mitchell, Robyn Crow and Ty Boyd.
