Audra Kimball has joined University of the Ozarks as director of foundations and major grants. Her first day was March 20, 2023.
Kimball will work out of the Advancement and Alumni Engagement Office and will identify, cultivate, solicit and maintain foundation and corporate support for the University. She replaces Rebecca Lester, who accepted a position with Kansas State University earlier this year.
“I am excited to join the Ozarks’ team and to work with those who are led to support this wonderful University and its students,” Kimball said. “It’s such a beautiful campus with so much to offer.”
Kimball most recently served as a school district director of personnel and program compliance. She has also served as a superintendent, principal and middle school teacher.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education as well as a master’s degree in teaching, both from the University of Arkansas. She has also earned additional graduate hours in educational administration and educational leadership.
Kimball and her husband, Shane, reside in Pettigrew with their two boys, Dawson (13) and Lawson (7). Outside of work, she enjoys camping, vacationing, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.
