Several University of the Ozarks faculty members were granted promotions and tenure during the recent Board of Trustees meeting held on campus April 28-29.
Those who were promoted from associate to full professor included (pictured, from left), Dr. Amy Oatis, professor of English; Dr. Joel Hagaman, professor of psychology; and Dr. Karen Frank, professor of history.
Those who receive promotions to associate professor and granted tenure were, Dr. Eddie Ardeneaux, associate professor of English; Dr. Nathan Eric Dickman, associate professor of philosophy; Dr. Stewart Hart, associate professor of chemistry; and Dr. Doris Metz, associate professor of education.
In addition, Cheyenne Star Lowrey-LaGrone will be promoted from instructor of health science to assistant professor of health science, effective July 1, 2023.
Also at the board meeting, retiring professors Dr. Greta Marlow and Robert Wofford were granted professor emeritus status.
