University of the Ozarks alumna Odalis Garcia ’23 of Springdale, Ark., will be honored by her alma mater with the 2026 Young Alumni Service Award during Homecoming Weekend, scheduled for October 16-18.
The Young Alumni Service Award recognizes an alumnus who is at least five years out of graduation and under 35 years of age, has been active in alumni activities, and who has demonstrated loyalty to the University.
The award will be presented at the Alumni Awards Banquet as part of Homecoming Weekend on Friday, October 16, 2026, in the Rogers Conference Center on the U of O campus.
A native of Clarksville, Garcia graduated from Ozarks in 2023 with a degree in business administration. She currently serves as a realtor with PAK Home Realty in Northwest Arkansas. She also works in marketing and has owned and operated a photography business for the past six years.
Garcia serves on the University of the Ozarks Alumni Board of Directors as well as on the board for the Hispanic Women’s Organization of Arkansas. She was recognized earlier this year as Volunteer of the Year by CASA of the 5th Judicial District for her service as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
Through her professional and volunteer work, she remains actively involved in supporting and strengthening her community.
