Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles tennis team suffered a 7-2 setback in their season-opener against NCAA II Henderson State University Sunday.
Mollie Grace Wilkinson picked up a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles. Kalli Simpson also won at No. 6 singles 6-2, 1-6, 10-5. In doubles play, Wilkinson and Simpson nearly pulled off a win, but came up short (9-8).
Henderson State moves to 1-1 on the season.
