Women’s Soccer Team Receives NSCAA Academic Award

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks women's soccer team has been honored with the prestigious Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), it was announced by the organization?s media relations director.

The NSCAA Team Academic Award is presented to those teams with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average for the 2010-2011 academic year. Under Head Coach Bryan Drotar, Ozarks posted a 3.37 team gpa to receive the distinction. It marks the fourth time the women’s soccer program has received the honor. Institutions from NCAA Division I, II and III, and NAIA are eligible for the honor.
