Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O women's soccer team has been honored with a Team Academic Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
The award is presented to those teams with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average for the past school year. The Lady Eagles squad earned the distinction after posting a 3.07 team grade point average during the 2001-2002 school year. Schools from NCAA Division I, II and III, and NAIA are eligible for the honor.
