Head Coach Bryan Drotar enters his fifth year at Ozarks and expects improved results in 2012. A talented pool of returning players should help the turn-around. Drotar has seven starters back from last year’s team, which finished 3-16-0 overall and 2-11-0 in the American Southwest Conference.

“The first day went very well,” said Drotar. “We want to integrate our freshmen into what we are doing. We have a lot of youth and excitement.”

The Lady Eagles return one All-Conference player in defender Monica Seiler. Seiler, a junior, started in 17 matches as a defensive specialist.

Drotar also welcomes the return of goalkeepers Mary Eoff and Codie Freeman. Both were injured last season and saw limited action.

The Lady Eagles open the regular season with a home match against Central Baptist College Saturday, August 31 at 4:00 p.m.
