Clarksville, Ark.-One NCAA I opponent and a home date with the NCAA III reigning champions highlight the fall 2011 University of the Ozarks women's soccer schedule.
The Lady Eagles open the year at home against NAIA member Central Baptist College September 1. Ozarks will travel to Missouri to face William Woods University and Central Methodist University September 1 and September 3. Ozarks then hosts NCAA I University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff September 7 in what will be the Lady Eagles’ first home match against an NCAA I team. Ozarks opens ASC play against Louisiana College September 15 in Pineville. On September 24, the Lady Eagles will host Hardin-Simmons University, the reigning NCAA III champions.
Last season, the Lady Eagles struggled to an 0-17-2 overall record under head coach Bryan Drotar. But a large and talented incoming freshman class bolsters Ozarks’ roster with what is expected to be Drotar’s best class since his arrival.
