Clarksville, Ark.--Will Brahic was named to the men's soccer 2004 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas All-Central Region Third Team, announced by the NSCAA national office on Monday.
Brahic, a 5-8, 175-pound senior midfielder from Modesto, California, finished fourth on the team in points (18), third in goals (6) and shots (49) and fourth in assists (6). Brahic was one of only eight conference players named to one of the three NSCAA All-Region squads. He was named to the All-American Southwest Conference First Team this season and led the Eagles to their fifth consecutive ASC post-season tournament appearance. A year ago, Brahic earned ASC All-East Division Second Team honors after leading the team to the ASC title and the school’s first-ever NCAA championship appearance. Brahic was named a 2002 NSCAA/Adidas Junior College First Team All-America and voted Bay Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year at Modesto JC. He was a four-year member of the Northern California State Olympic development team and a two-year member of the Regional Olympic development team. He is a graduate of Turlock High School.
