Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles (12-8), (5-3) are in a two-way tie for second place after losing to the Louisiana College 88-75.

The Eagles shot only 34 percent from the field and 61 percent from the free throw line against the Wildcats. However, five players scored ten or more points for Ozarks with Mandrell Howell leading the way with 24 points. Howell, who ranks 12th in the conference in scoring (14.8), hit 10 of 22 shots, including 2 of 3 three-pointers. Brent Johnson had 12 points and Ricky Johnson, V.J. Akers and Reggie Brasfield each contributed 10 points. Geoffrey Owens, Howell and Brent Gibbs each collected a team high four rebounds.
