The Lady Eagles had two hits in the final inning, but were unable to get either runner across the plate. Marvin received the loss. Newell then blasted a grand slam to give Ozarks a 6-4 advantage. The lead wouldn’t last long, however, as UT-Tyler answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning to gain the win.
