Tyler, Texas-UT-Tyler handed the University of the Ozarks women's soccer team a 3-0 setback in their American Southwest Conference season-opener in Tyler, Texas, on Friday afternoon.
It was Ozarks (3-1-2, 0-1-0) first loss of the season. The Lady Patriots (3-2-0, 1-0-0) held a 1-0 lead at halftime behind a goal by Dausha Hudack with 3:41 left in the half. UT-Tyler came out in the second half and scored two more goals to put away Ozarks. UT-Tyler out shot Ozarks 30-1. The Lady Eagles will face Concordia-Austin tomorrow in Austin, Texas in ASC play.
