UTD had a 10-point halftime advantage, but the Lady Eagles cut the lead to three points with 20 seconds left in the game. However, Ozarks was unable to convert a game-winning basket. Thomas scored 17 points to lead the Lady Eagles. Waldron’s Kristy Watts had 13 points and 10 rebounds. The Lady Eagles are now 8-4 overall and will play five straight home conference games. “We need win at least four out of our five games,” said Jones. “I would be very happy if we could do that. We’ve got to take advantage of our home games to have a chance at a conference championship.”
