In game one, the Lady Eagles (18-13, 9-11) faced an 8-0 deficit going into the bottom of the fifth before Andrea Dewy and Jamie Johnson each recorded an RBI to bring Ozarks to within 8-2. Ozarks would score once more in the bottom of the seventh on a Shannon Rainbolt RBI. UT-Dallas (16-10, 12-4) had 19 hits in the contest.
