The Eagles (14-10, 7-5) finished their season third in the American Southwest Conference East Division.

The Eagles dropped a 90-79 decision to UT-Dallas. The Eagles were unable to overcome a 43-28 halftime deficit against UT-Dallas in their final game of the year. Ozarks had three players in double figures led by Bollman’s 23 points. Howell had 13 points and Josh Joyner added 11 points. Bollman shot 9-of-18 from the field and led the team with seven rebounds. "It was disappointing that we couldn’t finish stronger," said head coach Matt O’Connor. "An injury to Ricky Johnson really took a toll on us. Before he got injured, we were sitting in first place, and following his injury we seemed to struggled down the stretch. Both Ricky and Shane Norrid have been very resilient players during their careers here. Each have meant a lot to our program." The Eagles will return numerous key players next season and may receive the services of Michael Bollman. Bollman may be granted one more year of eligibility after playing in only seven games last season at Henderson State. "We’ve sent an appeal to the conference office and we are working on some more paper work that the NCAA will be reviewing regarding Michael’s playing time at Henderson State," said O’Connor. "We hope we will receive a decision from the NCAA in the next month or so."
