Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles combined for just seven hits and had too many miscues in the field as University of Dallas took a double-header sweep Sunday in Irving, Texas.

Ozarks (3-11) jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first only to see the Crusaders (15-12) answer with a pair of runs in the bottom half of the inning en route to a 5-2 win in game one. The Lady Eagles went scoreless for the next four innings before plating a run in the sixth. Cassie Saoronno drove in Sarah Otteman in the sixth, but Ozarks couldn’t manufacture another run.

Saorrono led Ozarks with a 2-for-3 performance at the plate.

Stephany Henson (1-5) absorbed the loss in a complete game effort. She fanned six.

University of Dallas broke open a scoreless game in the third when it put five runs on the board, all of which were unearned, in a 5-1 game two victory.

Four costly errors in the frame put Ozarks in a difficult position, as they trailed 5-0 with four innings to play. The Lady Eagles did rally in the fifth, scoring a run off three hits.

Danielle Dirks went 2-for-4.

Kelsea Morris (1-1) took the loss after tossing three innings.

The Lady Eagles will host Lyon College this Tuesday in a double-header starting at 2:00 p.m.
