Clarksville, Ark. --- The University of the Ozarks will present a pair of Halloween events that are open to community on Monday, Oct. 31.

The university’s Residential Hall Association (RHA) will present its annual evening of Haunted Housing for the local community starting at 6:15 p.m. on the Ozarks campus. The Haunted Housing, which is free and open to all area children ages 12 and under, will include trick-or-treating tours of several of the university’s residential halls. Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and parents can accompany their children on the tours. The escorted tours of the Halloween-decorated halls will begin in the Seay Student Center. The candy that will be passed out by students will be purchased by U of O officials. The tours will run until approximately 8 p.m. Starting at 8 p.m. on Oct. 31, Dr. Sharon Gorman, associate professor of music and university organist, will present her fifth annual Halloween Organ Concert in Munger Chapel. Dr. Gorman will perform music from such films as Phantom of the Opera, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Star Wars III as well as more traditional pieces. The concert is free and the public is invited to attend. For more information on the Haunted Housing, please contact the Student Life Office at 979-1322.
