Clarksville, Ark.-The U of O tennis teams swept Austin College in American Southwest Conference action on Saturday.
The women’s team picked up a 5-4 victory over Austin and moved into second place in the ASC East Division. A win against LeTourneau’s women squad on April 11would put the Lady Eagles in the conference championships. The Eagles recorded a 4-3 win over the Kangaroos. In women’s action, Julie Richardson, Jessica Bush, and Debbie Giesecke each picked up wins in singles play. The Lady Eagles won two of three of their doubles matches with Richardson and Bush gaining a 8-4 victory. Mandy Hock and Karie Allen recorded a 9-8 victory. In men’s play, Fuyei Xaykaothao, Reggie Brasfield and Zack Schiff recorded wins in singles play.
