Two Second Half Goals Push Ozarks Past Ranked Sewanee

Clarksville, Ark.-Ozarks scored a pair of second half goals en route to a 2-1 win over regionally-ranked Sewanee in the Kyle Rote Jr. Invitational on Friday night in Sewanee, Tenn.

After a scoreless first half, Anthony Santoro got his first goal of the season in the 55th minute. Matt Engelman then followed with a goal in the 58th minute on an assist from Joseph Lokang. Sewanee, ranked 4th in the NSCAA central region poll, narrowed the gap to 2-1 on a goal in the 72nd minute.

Engelman had a team-best three shots.

Ozarks moves to 3-0-0, while Sewanee falls to 2-1-0.

Ozarks will face Birmingham Southern on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
