Marshall, Texas- Natalie Torres? hat trick pushed East Texas Baptist University to a 4-0 win over the Lady Eagles in American Southwest Conference play Thursday.
Torres scored a quick goal for the Lady Tigers (4-3-1, 2-2-1 ASC) and then added another in the 18th minute to put the home team in front 2-0. Torres found the back of the net again in the 28th minute to record a hat trick. Ozarks (1-9-0, 1-4-0 ASC) had difficulty recovering from the Lady Tigers quick start and did not record a shot in the first half. Ozarks totaled two shots in the match. Mary Eoff had four saves for Ozarks in goal.
Ozarks will host Texas-Tyler October 4 and LeTourneau University October 6.
