Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks freshman forward Thomas Mills was named the American Southwest Conference men?s soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
The 6-foot, 170-pound Heath, Texas, native recorded a hat trick in a 6-2 win over Howard Payne University Saturday (Sept. 28). Mills scored all three goals in the first half and took three shots in the match as he helped Ozarks to a 1-0-1 record during the week. On the season, Mills has seven goals in ten matches.
Mills was named First Team All-District his senior season at Heath High School.
Ozarks (6-2-2, 1-0-1 ASC) will host East Texas Baptist University October 3.
