Richardson, Texas-Texas-Dallas outscored the Lady Eagles 34-0 Friday to complete a weekend American Southwest Conference softball sweep.
Texas-Dallas’ bats caught fire and recorded 13 hits in a 16-0 game one win and then pounded out 17 more in a 18-0 game two win. Meanwhile, the Lady Eagles struggled at the plate, recording only four hits on the day. Ozarks’ defense didn’t give itself a chance as it committed a combined 13 errors Friday afternoon. Amber Rollins and Tabitha McClane took the losses in the circle for Ozarks.
Ozarks will host East Texas Baptist University April 5-6 in a four-game series. Ozarks will honor senior Ali Mathis as part of Saturday’s “Senior Day” festivities.
