Texas-Dallas Men Hit 10 Three’s In Win Over Ozarks

Clarksville, Ark.-The Texas-Dallas men hit 10 three-pointers and had four players reach double figures to pick up a 72-53 American Southwest Conference win over the University of the Ozarks Saturday.

The Comets (3-0, 1-0 ASC) held a 30-21 halftime lead, but Ozarks (1-4, 0-1 ASC) had a 15-13 advantage with 7:40 remaining in the half. However, the Comets reeled off a 17-6 to close out the half.

Texas-Dallas then built a 40-23 advantage just three minutes into the second half. Ozarks never trimmed the deficit to double digits at any point in the second half. The Eagles missed all six of its three-point attempts in the game, while Texas-Dallas made 10-of-24 from the three-point arc.

Ronnie Dodd led Ozarks with 17 points.

Ozarks will head to Texas for games against Hardin-Simmons November 29 and Concordia University Texas December 1.
