Richardson, Texas-Texas-Dallas scored in the 7th minute and then added a pair of second half goals to post a 3-0 shutout over the Eagles Wednesday in American Southwest Conference men?s soccer play in Richardson, Texas.
Ozarks (6-10-1, 5-7-1 ASC) had a solid showing in the first half recording six shots, but couldn’t get one past the goalkeeper. Holding a 1-0 lead, the Comets (12-2-2, 10-2-1 ASC) scored in the 74th minute and again in the 82nd minute. The Eagles were unable to match their first half offense, while the Comets took ten shots at goalkeeper Neil Thompson in the second half. Thompson ended the match with three saves.

Ozarks will end the season with a home match against Centenary October 29. That match has been designated as “Senior Day” with each Ozarks senior being honored prior to the match.
