Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles dug themselves out of a 6-1 deficit, but were unable to complete a comeback as Arkansas Tech University edged Ozarks 6-5 in a non-conference bout on Tuesday night in Russellville.

<#IMAGE:1#>Tech starter Zach Weiss shutdown the Eagles’ bats as he threw six no-hit innings. The Wonder Boys (20-26-1) scored twice in the third, fourth and fifth innings to hold a 6-1 lead after seven. Ozarks (20-17) scored their first run in the fourth on a Tech error. The Eagles rallied in the top of the eighth, collecting three hits and scoring four runs. Logan Kizer and David Isom hit back-to-back singles to lead off the inning. Both would eventually score as would John Glenn and Jeffrey Weaver. Robby Finnell and Todd Koch each had an RBI in the inning. Finnell becomes the school single-season record holder in RBI (40). Caleb Hilton held the record when he recorded 39 RBI in 2005 and 2006. Ozarks collected just five hits in the game, with Kizer ending 2-for-4 at the plate. Bruce Cameron (2-2) received the loss after going four and two-third innings. He finished with four strikeouts. Ozarks will finish regular season conference play when they head to Clinton, Miss., to face Mississippi College (15-21, 6-9) on April 20 and April 21. Ozarks has already secured a spot in the playoffs.
