Clarksville, Ark.-Student-Athletes at the University of the Ozarks collected over 500-pounds of food that will be distributed to Johnson County's "Meals On Wheels" program.

The food drive was held in conjunction with the NCAA’s month-long National STUDENT-Athlete celebration. “This was an excellent opportunity to serve Johnson County,” said Athletics Director Dave De Hart. “It is a wonderful example of Ozarks student-athletes leading our community.” The food drive was coordinated by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Ruby Frazier, site director at the Johnson County Senior Center, received the donated food that will be distributed to area residents.
