Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks head athletic trainer Chad Floyd will hold a student athletic trainer workshop July 22-23 on Ozarks' campus for high school students.
The workshop will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day. Participants will learn basic athletic training knowledge and hands-on skills.
The cost is $75 and the pre-registration deadline is July 19. Enrollment is limited to 10 students. Campus housing is available for $30 per night.
Floyd, who is in his 12th year at Ozarks, holds state, district and national training certifications and has an Arkansas teaching certificate in Health and Physical Education.
