Tyler, Texas-The Texas-Tyler men outscored the Eagles 47-27 in the second half to pick up a 81-62 American Southwest Conference win Saturday.
Ozarks (3-4, 1-3 ASC) trailed 34-33 at the half, but the Patriots (3-3, 2-2 ASC) reeled off a 21-7 run in the final seven minutes of the game to put the contest out of reach. The Eagles would hit just 9-of-27 (33%) from the field in the second half. Ozarks did hold a 16-12 in the first half on a Josh Ferrell three-pointer, but that would be the largest lead for the Eagles in the entire game.
Ferrell scored a game-high 21 points and hit three three-pointers. Andrew Cummings added 12 points.
Ozarks will host LeTourneau University December 19.
