Clarksville, Ark.-A 71-66 loss to Southern Arkansas December 16 snapped the U of O Eagles four-game win streak.

The Eagles were unable to pull out the game despite holding a nine point lead with 6:49 left in the contest. The Eagles held a 33-29 lead at halftime, but were outscored 22-8 in last six minutes of the game. First half action saw Ozarks score a quick seven points with 1:49 remaining in the half. Michael Bollman hit a three-pointer, Josh Joyner converted on a lay-up off of a steal and Mandrell Howell connected on two free throws to give the Eagles the advantage at halftime. The Eagles sank four of nine three-pointers in the first half. Second half action saw the Eagles continue to lead through out most of the second half thanks in part to the consistent play of Bollman and Howell. Southern Arkansas, however, cut into the lead after hitting several free throws. Ozarks was called for 14 second half fouls, nine more than they received in the first half. The Eagles also connected on just two field goals in the last seven minutes of the game. Bollman led the Eagles with 20 points and nine rebounds.
