Clarksville, Ark.-The Eagles (9-5-0, 5-3-0) connected on eight goals in an 8-0 win over Louisiana College in ASC action. Ozarks will travel to Marshall, Texas, to play East Texas Baptist on October 25 in ASC action.

The Eagles defeated East Texas Baptist 1-0 in their previous match up. The Eagles ran roughshod over the Wildcats, scoring a season high eight goals in their ninth shut out of the year. Daniel Faires (Springdale, AR) got the Eagles going in the 15th minute with his second goal of the season. Ricky Herrera (Las Cruces, NM) then scored in the 25th and 28th minutes. A Ron Hogsett (McKinney, TX) goal in the 38th minute gave the Eagles a comfortable 4-0 lead at halftime. Herrera would complete his hat trick with a goal in the 47th minute. Herrera has a team best ten goals and 22 points and is the second Eagle to score three goals in one match this season. Hogsett nailed three goals on September 15 against Lyon College. Taylor Magee (El Dorado, AR), Joey Pianalto (Springdale, AR) and Clif Cottrell (Shawnee, OK) each scored a goal in the second half. Will Masterson (Georgetown, TX), Zack Boatwright (Dallas, TX), Aaron Coats (Boise, ID), Mark Meade (Rogers, AR) and Faires recorded assists. Goalkeepers Chris Schultz (Coppell, TX) and Nick Courtney (Dallas, TX) shared the shut out.
