Clarksville, Ark.-Three women's soccer players received American Southwest Conference honors, announced yesterday by the league office.
Senior defender Kara Carlson, senior midfielder Kim Jacky and sophomore forward Lindy Swatzell were named to the ASC All-East Division Second Team. Carlson, a native of Spring, Texas, started in all 18 matches for the Lady Eagles. Jacky, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, led the team in assists (5). Swatzell, a native of Westwood, Kansas, led the team in goals (6) and points (15) and ranked fourth in the conference in shots (71). Swatzell was the ASC East Division Freshman of the Year last season and earned All-ASC and ASC All-East Division First team honors a year ago.
