Skelly’s Game-Winner In 86th Minute Gives Ozarks Victory

Clarksville, Ark.-Ryan Skelly's game-winning goal in the 86th minute helped Ozarks to a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over LeTourneau University (2-5-0, 0-2-0) on Saturday in Longview, Texas.

Skelly scored off a feed from Aaron Pierson to record his second game-winner this season. Skelly scored just scored thirty seconds after Sarber made a save off a penalty kick. Pierson made the most of his first career goal when he scored in the 70th minute to tie the match at 1-1. Josh Carrasco received the assist. ????? The Eagles had nine shots in the match, with five of those recorded as shots on goal. Skelly led the team with three shots. ????? Brian Sarber had nine saves. ????? Ozarks will have their conference home-opener against UT-Dallas on September 23 and then face UT-Tyler on September 24. The men’s match begins at 1 p.m. on both days.
