Clarksville, Ark.-East Texas Baptist University pulled away from the Eagles in the second half to earn a 79-64 victory in American Southwest Conference play on Thursday night in Marshall, Texas.

After battling back-and-forth in the first ten minutes of the second half, Ozarks got within 46-45 at the 11:37 mark when Chris Williams completed a three-point play. However, the Tigers (4-12, 4-7) quickly raced out to a 54-45 lead over the next two minutes. From that point, Ozarks struggled from the floor, hitting only one more field goal in the contest. Chris Clark came off the bench to lead Ozarks with 14 points, including a 3-of-5 performance from the field. Habeeb Kareem scored 12 points and Blake Belford added 10 points.
