Second Half Goals Too Much For Ozarks

Clarksville, Ark.-Mississippi College's Samantha Greco scored two second half goals to push the Lady Choctaws past the University of the Ozarks women's soccer team 2-0 in American Southwest Conference play on Saturday afternoon.

<#IMAGE:1#>Greco, who did not start the match, scored on a header in the 72nd minute to give Mississippi College (5-5-0, 3-3-0) a 1-0 advantage. She quickly followed with a goal in the 78th minute to all but secure the win for the Lady Choctaws. Ozarks (5-4-2, 2-3-0) had trouble offensively, totaling only 3 shots on goal in the match. Olivia Fisher had 7 saves in the first half to keep the match tied 0-0 at the halftime. Ozarks totaled 5 shots in the match, with Heather Dryden recording 2 of those. Fisher finished with 8 saves. Ozarks travels to Abilene, Texas, to face McMurry University on October 6 and Hardin-Simmons University on October 7.
