Clarksville, Ark.- The University of the Ozarks men's soccer team scored a pair of second half goals en route to a 2-1 win over regionally-ranked Sewanee on Friday night at the prestigious Kyle Rote Jr. Invitational in Sewanee, Tenn.
In addition to Ozarks and Sewanee, the four-team tournament featured Johns Hopkins and Birmingham Southern.
After a scoreless first half, Anthony Santoro got his first goal of the season in the 55th minute. Engelman then followed with a goal in the 58th minute on an assist from Joseph Lokang. Sewanee, ranked 4th in the NSCAA central region poll, narrowed the gap to 2-1 on a goal in the 72nd minute.
Engelman had a team-best three shots.
Sewanee falls to 2-2-0. Ozarks moves to 3-0-0.
