Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks senior Zach Schiff was named American Southwest Conference East Division Men's Tennis Player of the Week, announced Wednesday afternoon by the league office.

Schiff, a native of Tulsa, Okla., earned the honor after picking up singles wins as the No. 2 player against ASC East opponents Austin College and Texas-Dallas over the weekend. Schiff won in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) against Austin College’s Nathaniel Navey on April 14, then came back to defeat Derek Decoste of UT-Dallas 2-6, 6-2, 7-5 on April 15. Schiff and the Eagles finish out the season this Saturday when they host Colorado College at 9:00 a.m.
