The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.

Clarksville, Ark.-The University of the Ozarks baseball team took a pair of American Southwest Conference games from LeTourneau University on Friday.

The Eagles (17-15, 5-6) scored three runs on two hits in the top of the eighth and John Scheuring pitched two strong innings late as Ozarks took a 7-4 win in game one. With the score knotted at 4-4 in the eighth and the bases loaded, the Eagles scored twice when Jimmy Pannell reached on an error by the third baseman. Logan Kizer followed with a sacrifice RBI to give Ozarks a 7-4 cushion. Scheuring then sealed the game by striking out three of the final five batters he faced. Scheuring gave the YellowJackets’ (10-21, 3-9) offense fits as he struck out six and gave up only one hit in two innings of relief. The sophomore lefty from Bryan, Texas, moves to 2-1 on the season. The Eagles trailed 3-0 after one, but stormed back to take a 4-3 lead in the second. Ozarks had just two hits in the frame, but took advantage of four LeTourneau errors. Scott Dietz finished the game 2-for-3 at the plate. John Glenn and Robby Finnell combined for seven hits and five RBI as the Eagles cruised to a 9-4 win in game two. Both collected two RBI apiece to highlight a five-run seventh inning. Ozarks had a 4-0 lead after the top of the fifth. Bruce Cameron recorded an RBI triple and John Glenn had an RBI single to give Ozarks two runs in the frame. D.J. Braswell (1-0) received the win after pitching six and one-third innings. He struck out three and walked only one. Glenn was a perfect 4-for-4 with 3 RBI. Finnell went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and Cameron went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Ozarks will face Arkansas Tech University on April 10 in Russellville.
