The Department of Education announced a further delay to release batches of FAFSA information (ISIRs) to schools until the first half of March.
Despite this, Ozarks is aiming to roll out financial aid packages within two weeks of receiving FAFSA information.

Sabrina Goddard Notches Second ASC Player of the Week Award

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks junior center Sabrina Goddard was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Women's Basketball Player of the Week, it was announced Tuesday by ASC Media Relations Director Greg Weghorst.

It is the second time she has been awarded the honor this season.

Goddard, a native of Stroud, Okla., scored 23 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked five shots to help Ozarks pull off a 69-60 upset against previously undefeated Texas-Dallas December 18. Goddard, who finished 10-of-18 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free throw line, scored 12 second half points to help the Lady Eagles overcome a 29-24 halftime deficit. The 6-foot-1 Goddard is the conference leader in blocks (3.8), while ranking third in scoring (15.9) and seventh in rebounding (8.2). She is currently tenth in NCAA III in blocks per game.

She has posted a pair of double-doubles this season and has scored 20 or more points four times.

Goddard was named to the ASC All-East Division Second Team last year and is a two-time member of the ASC All-Academic Team.

She is a graduate of Stroud High School where she was named an All-State Alternate, All-Region and All-Conference her senior season.

Ozarks (7-4, 3-4 ASC) will travel to Springdale, Ark., to face Ecclesia College January 3.
