Clarksville, Ark.-Junior forward Ronnie Dodd was named the American Southwest Conference East Division Player of the Week after averaging 24 points, 10 rebounds and 1.5 blocks over two conference road games.
The 6-foot-5, 180-pound Dodd, pumped in 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a loss to Louisiana College. Dodd came back against Mississippi College Saturday and scored 23 points to go along with 9 rebounds in Ozarks first road victory over the Choctaws in program history.
For the week, the Forney, Texas, native shot 54 percent from the floor, recorded three assists and connected four times from three-point range.
Dodd ranks among the top-20 in the ASC in scoring (14.0 - 18th), rebounding (6.3 - 12th) and blocked shots (1.0 - 9th). He has posted a pair of double-doubles and reached double figures in scoring 12 times this season.
Ozarks will travel to East Texas Baptist University and Centenary this week.
