Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks freshman shortstop Regan Brown was named American Southwest Conference East Division Hitter of the Week after leading the Lady Eagles to a perfect 7-0 record last week.
Brown, a native of Rogers, batted .592 (16-for-27) with seven RBI, three triples and a double to help Ozarks end the season with a seven game win streak. Brown finished the year second on the team in batting (.398), hits (49), RBI (26), slugging (.504) and stolen bases (11). This marks the third Ozarks player to receive the honor this season. Brown is a graduate of Rogers High School where she was an All-State player. She is the daughter of Allen and Robin Harte.
