Rana, Vona Garner All-Conference Honors

Clarksville, Ark.-University of the Ozarks senior women's tennis player Lea Rana was voted to the American Southwest Conference All-East Division Second Team as voted on by the league's head coaches, the ASC office announced Wednesday.

Rana, a native of Dallas, Texas, played the No. 1 singles position all season, posting a 3-2 mark against conference opponents. In doubles action, she went 3-2 in ASC play. She won three of her last four doubles matches and was named ASC Player of the Week earlier this month.

Junior Briar Vona joined Rana as an ASC All-East Division Honorable Mention pick in doubles play.

Vona, a junior from Earth, Texas, had a 3-2 doubles record in conference play and a 5-5 overall record.

Senior men’s player Michael Laws was voted the co-ASC East Division Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year. Laws is a senior from Mena, Arkansas.
