University of the Ozarks Art Professor Tammy Harrington’s monotype print "Dream II" has been selected into the Arkansas Arts Council’s Small Works on Paper 2014 exhibition.

The Small Works on Paper is an annual touring visual arts exhibition coordinated by the Arkansas Arts Council.  This juried exhibition tours statewide from January through November.  There are 39 artists included in the exhibition.

"Dream II" is a monotype print of a koi fish.

"I titled the artwork Dream II because of how the water becomes hazy around the fish and it creates an atmosphere that is surreal and dreamlike," Harrington said. "The fish also has an expression of calm and peace which adds to the transcendent energy."

This is the third time that Harrington’s artwork has been included in the Small Works on Paper exhibition.

During the month of February, the exhibition will be at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville.  There will be a reception to meet some of the artists from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, at ATU.
