Clarksville, Ark. - The University of the Ozarks women's soccer team tumbled to a 2-0 setback against Texas College in their season opener Saturday in Clarksville.
Ozarks (0-1-0) finished with a 14-6 shots advantage, but were unable to score. The second half saw the Lady Eagles get a number of quality shots, including a pair by both Kristi Gordon and Heather Dryden, but neither were able to connect in the non-conference affair.
Gordon had a team-best six shots.
Ozarks will host Central Baptist College Monday at 1:00 p.m.
