Ozarks Unable To Hold Onto Halftime Lead Against UT-Tyler

Clarksville, Ark.-The Lady Eagles dropped a 100-65 decision to UT-Tyler in American Southwest Conference action on Saturday in Tyler, Texas.

The Lady Eagles (3-20, 3-17) held a 37-33 at halftime, but shot just 22 percent from the field in the second half to end any hopes of their second consecutive upset. The Patriots (14-8, 14-6) came out in the second half and made 28-of-49 (57%) field goals to out score the Lady Eagles 67-28. Ozarks held the lead briefly in the second half before UT-Tyler out scored the visitors 12-1 over a three-minute span to gain control of the contest. Erica Eneks scored a team-high 20 points, the nineteenth time she has reached double figures this season and the seventh time she has scored 20 or more points. Lori Moon added 14 points. Eneks had 7 rebounds. Ozarks will host LeTourneau University on February 17 and East Texas Baptist on February 19.
